The insertion of a REBOA (resuscitative endovascular balloon occlusion of the aorta) catheter can be a life-saving intervention. However, it is extremely rare that this intervention is needed, which is why it is difficult to always have this skill and the associated process at hand. For this reason, the emergency centre of the Inselhospital in Bern and our technical partner ORAMA VR have developed a training course that allows the procedure to be trained in VR.
